About Us
What is HELP Now Christian Fellowship?
HELP Now Christian Fellowship is a church founded on the principles and teachings of Jesus Christ. The word ‘H.E.L.P.’ is an acrostic for: Heal, Encourage, Listen, Pray.
HELP Now is not affiliated with any organized religion, and is therefore considered ‘non-denominational’.
The head of our church is Jesus Christ. All decisions and church activities must not contradict His teaching.
HELP Now Christian Fellowship members also actively engage in community outreach at least four days per week.

OUR TEAM
Our Leadership
Our leadership consists of the biblical offices of Pastor, Elder and Deacon. Many churches such as ours start with one or two people covering all these position. As our church grows, more members will be added to these ranks. We also, by legal requirement as a registered society, have to have a Board of Directors which oversees all financial aspects of the organization and ensures that we meet our stated mandate.
‘Pastor‘ is a term which is a Latin word that translates to ‘Shepherd’. Pastors are those that do the majority of the teaching. The Pastors are one or more specific elder.
‘Elders‘ are people who oversee the teaching and are responsible for guiding, lifting up, and when necessary, admonishing members of the congregation. Some Elders are Pastors, some oversee the operation of services or ministries. The word ‘Elder’ has nothing to do with age in this context, it is about spiritual maturity.
‘Deacons‘ are responsible for the day to day operations of a church. A Deacon may be responsible for transportation issues, or office related duties such as secretary. In many churches Deacons do all of the maintenance and set up/take down for events.
